What we collect on this site, why, and what we do with it. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

1Who we are#

modulariti [ registered entity ] operates this website. We build AI and cloud systems for businesses.

If you have a question about anything on this page, or want to exercise any of the rights described below, write to info@modulariti.ai.

2What we collect#

Two things, and nothing else.

What you send us. If you book a call, we collect your name, email address, anything you add as a note, and the day and time you choose. Bookings are made through Cal.com. If you fill in the contact form, we collect your full name, email, company or website, the technical challenge you describe, and your target timeline if you give one. If you subscribe to Notes from the work, we collect your email address.

How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. This sets cookies and collects your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time on page. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the banner.

We do not collect anything else. There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no data brokers.

3Fonts and assets are served by us#

Typefaces and other assets on this site are hosted on our own infrastructure rather than loaded from a third-party font service. Visiting this site does not disclose your IP address to a font provider.

4Cookies#

Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. These are always on.

Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics and only after you accept them. Decline, and no analytics cookies are set.

You can change your choice at any time through [ the cookie settings link in the footer ].

5Why we process your information#

To reply to you. If you contact us, we use what you sent to understand the problem and respond. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

To send Notes from the work. Only if you subscribed. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

To understand how the site is used. Aggregate traffic patterns, so we know which pages are worth improving. The legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.

We do not use what you send us to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.

6Who else sees it#

We keep the number of third parties as small as we can. The current list:

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not pass it to anyone outside this list.

7What we never do with it#

Your enquiry is not used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.

We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us. Notes from the work is opt-in only.

8How long we keep it#

Contact form submissions: twelve months from your last contact with us. If we start working together, your information is then held under the terms of that engagement instead.

Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

Analytics: [ retention period set in Google Analytics, 14 months is the usual default; confirm what yours is set to ].

9Where your information goes#

Our hosting and analytics providers may process data outside the country you are in, including in the United States.

Where that happens, each transfer relies on an adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses with the provider.

10Your rights#

If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with equivalent protection, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it
  • send you a copy in a portable format
  • stop processing it, or object to how we are processing it
  • withdraw consent you have given, at any time

Write to info@modulariti.ai and we will respond within [ 30 days, confirm ].

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

11Security#

How we handle data in the systems we build for clients is described in detail on our security practice page. For this website specifically: traffic is served over HTTPS, access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it, and credentials are held in a managed secret store rather than in configuration files.

12Changes#

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
